On Friday, February 16th, my parents' household changed dramatically. After 20 years of being a big part of their lives, Chelsea Cat went to play with my grandparents over the rainbow. She will be missed greatly, but she will also be remembered with smiles and gratitude. I'm sorry, Mom and Dad. Isa will miss her napping partner. We love you!

Can I just say that Willa's picture looks practically identical to me when I was younger? I have to know how old she was when that picture was taken. I think she's outgrown our lookalike status now, but maybe I'm not the best judge of that.
This picture was taken in June of '06. She 7 years 8 months old. I think she still looks a lot like Aunt Rochelle. Shelly says she can't wait for Willa to get boing boing curls like her Aunt.
Hopefully Willa is nicer to the boys in the neighborhood than Rocky was. If she is, it's probably because she doesn't have older brothers - I admit that Seamhead and I (probably mostly Seamhead, he always was an agitator) may have been indirectly responsible for the abuse of neighborhood boys.
I cannot believe that RWP is calling Seamhead an agitator. RWP was the sneakiest, slyest, quietest agitator in the 'hood!
Inconceivable.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Inigo Montoya
"I challenge you to a duel!"
I want to instill that um . . . urge to terrorize the neighborhood boys in my daughter. I think it makes a fine attribute for a daughter. Although, I didn't find it to be such a noble attribute in a sister.
Back to the cat, back to the cat.....
