History Lesson

Here's a great post about about why torture is both wrong and ineffective. There are links in here to American World War II interrogators telling how they interrogated enemy soldiers without compromising their humanity and the principles of our nation.

Seamhead,

I very often believe I have ESP or some variation thereof, because while I can not predict the future, WAY too man coincidences occur in my life. Meaning, that I was in the Dollar Tree store a just a couple of weeks ago and bought the hardback edition of "Inside the Wire" by Erik Saar for one dollar. I've been whizzing through it and almost have it complete. I've been thinking much about you as I've been reading it and have even told myself I need to mail it to you upon completion. Now, I'm guessing maybe you've already read it? It is a very insightful to Gitmo and how it was really being managed. Do you have the book or would you be interested in me sending it when I'm finished?

I would definitely be interested in that book. You don't have to send it to me though. I'll go snag a copy, and we can discuss it.
