Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

Shelly finally made it home today. The girls sure were missing their Momma. There is no better medicine than having a two-year old curled up in your lap.

Shelly's still recovering. She probably won't make it back to school for the first week. But she's definitely getting better. Yesterday I didn't think she'd be able to come home today.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Have a good new year!

Congrats, speedy recovery, and Merry Christmas. I'm glad to hear all is (relatively) well. I'm sure that nurse Willa and nurse Isa have things well under control.

On a separate recovery note, Amanda is recovering nicely after having eight (yes 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8) teeth extracted today. It is really funny what people will say as they go under general anesthesia. But now the adult teeth have a place to go (before the braces of course). She has a few extra holes in her head now, but no stitches. Those are reserved for...

Lindsey had an up-close-and-personal encounter with a teeter-totter at church and just had two stitches removed from her upper lip. She is fine and left with a barely noticeable mark.

Sorry to go on and on, but I had some catching up to do. Maybe we need to get nurses Willa and Isa to come take care of us (once Mom is up and running again, of course).

Shelly says I can scan a picture of her as a child and post it. We can juxtapose it with a photo of this Narnia star. Then we'll vote on whether JP is insane or merely crazy. Of course, we could have that vote without posting the photos.

DLS, I'm glad she didn't need all those teeth. That's a ton of teeth though. How long's the recovery on that?

I hope that fighting with playground equipment isn't SOP for Lindsey.

Seamhead, if you would have seen the x-ray, you would have realized that the eight teeth will not be missed. There are plenty more waiting to come in. And I think she's over it. She proved that to me when she said, "Let's go shopping." She also polished off two plates of Chinese food just hours after the procedure.

Yes, it is SOP for Lindsey to fight with playground equipment. However, losing is not SOP with her.

I seem to recall from High School that Jagua drives like a crazy person. Thus my vote is certified, Grade A, Randle McMurphy cuckoo.

Allright, that wasn't one of the choices but the jury is still out in my mind. This post has been carefully crafted to elicit a response from which my ultimate decision will be based.
