All He Wants

The New York Times reminds us:

What Mr. Bush wants is to be able to listen to your international telephone calls and read your international e-mail whenever he wants, without a court being able to prevent it or judge the legality of his actions . . .

Finally, Mr. Bush said it was vital to national security to give amnesty to any company that turned over data on Americans without a court order. The purpose of this amnesty is not to protect national secrets — that could be done during a trial — but to make sure that the full damage to Americans’ civil liberties is never revealed. Mr. Bush also objects to a provision that would create a committee to examine his warrantless spying program.

Seamhead, a comment here to let you know that I have revisted your blog. I've been enjoying an annonymous guitarist on youtube along with thousands of others in his developing fan base. Go to youtube and checkout any of Fretkillers vids. Guy is awesome. If he is not in some way a part of or associated with a professional band or music group, then this guy is a hidden gem. I suspect he was at a minimum a back up player for some well known group. Or, he could be like one of those guys who plays for everyone and you always see him the background, but no one knows who he is. One thing for certain, he does kill the frets. Check him out and post an article about him, guitar playing, or music..any article you choose on the music subject. Interested to hear your opinion on Fretkiller and some of your thoughts on music. Or maybe see your own youtube video as an ode to the throwback era of MEMC early morning guitar and nintendo baseball just before a nice Guamanian BBQ for lunch from your Mom or fish fry from your Grandma.
