Audience Check

I just wanted to post something since it's been a few days since any new musings appeared. I took this picture during the vacation David and I went on last month to Ixtapa, Mexico. David really liked these birds, which have black legs with bright yellow feet.

Happy Friday, everyone!

that's quite a relaxing photo especially after you view it full-size. I can hear some reggae music in the background.

We heard Bob Marley's greatest hits ("Legend") every day in its entirety at the pool. I could just picture Parke and Ben singing, "I shot the sheriff, but I didn't shot no def-u-teeeeeee" (that's verbatim how they sang it when I was on vacation w/them in December).
Add to your vision a slight breeze, a hint of saltwater smell, the occasional pelican sound, and the welcome taste of a tropical drink or cerveza. It was very relaxing!

You and everyone else will get the full poop when I go home, mister. I promise to post something tonight. I wanted to post some stuff about David and full-on embarrass him. Isn't that what spouses are for???

Thanks, Howdy. I had thought that maybe Jeffy would have some sort of a comment about the quality of the photo or its composition since he is a photography buff, but instead he bypassed the merits of the photograph for a follow-up on a personal inquiry. Some people! :p

Awwww-you're just saying that 'cause I guilted you into it. Anyway, it seems like we glossed over the rule of thirds in one or more of my classes at the j-school. Maybe it was in my graphics class where we learned about things like the optical center and other interesting tidbits?

I'll have to show you the rest of the pics sometime. Basically, it was just good scenery. I like the west coast - you don't have to wake at sunrise to shoot a good sun photo!
