Paulie knocked them dead at Deja Vu on Friday.

Here is a picture of Paulie's first heckler. Also, see Travis' review at his blog.

She was singing all right. Right along with Paulie. They made quite a team. She even did a little burlesque show from the audience. Everyone loved it.

I told Paulie that I was secretly happy that the show had been cancelled and rescheduled so many times. The first scheduled show I could've made it to but the others I couldn't (it's that work thing). I was thrilled when I found out it had been rescheduled for the weekend of my vacation!!! Lou and I had a great time. Paulie has a great show that kept us laughing the whole time. MD, like you I had tears in my eyes from beginning to end. We hadn't seen Paulie since our rehearsal dinner and reception almost 2 years ago. Lania kept us all laughing too!! Like MD said everyone else missed out on a great show!!! Don't miss out on the party at our house (July 23rd) Paulie will be there ready to perform again.

You guys make me blush. I was nervous the whole time, not from playing in front of everyone, but from not knowing whether the two chicks I brought were pissing the manager off enough to have him not invite me back again.

ps-Come to Lou and Misti's party, it will be a hoot and a nanny.

Word has it there was an evil twin lurking in Columbia last weekend. Some uninformed folks might think they had a legit sighting of that famous musician Jeffrey Arrigo's wife at Paulie's fabulous debut, but my cousin's neighbor's boyfriend told me the real Mrs. Arrigo was in fact at home quietly reading a good wholesome book about clean living.

That evil twin was quite convincing. She even claimed attendance at the Blind Boys of Alabama concert that the real Mrs. Arrigo was scheduled to attend.

Especially convincing though, were her pleas not to tell Jeff.

Hypothetically speaking, of course: Is it wrong for one man to say to another man's wife into the microphone and in front of an audience, "Sorry about your nipples, [insert name here]"?

Just checkin'.

Great show, Paulie!

I don't know if it's wrong or not, but it's funny.

I think it had something to do with 'hairy.'

Sorry about your wifes nipples Jeff.
